Media information
As an expert on relationships and sexuality, I am regularly asked to comment for national press and women’s magazines as well as appearing on national radio and television. As well as appearing on a number of news and factual TV programs, I have worked as a behind the scenes consultant for BBC Drama, BBC Factual and BBC Editorial Policy as well as on a range of other documentaries. Regular radio appearances include Radio 1’s Sunday Surgery and Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
In my role as an author I have written for many websites including I-village, Men’s Health and Super Nanny and I also wrote and devised the BBC’s website pages on relationships and sex and step families. Books include the latest Relate Guide, Help Your Children Cope With Your Divorce and How to Have a Healthy Divorce, due to be published in December ‘08. I also wrote the script for the Lovers Guide Interactive DVD and have written for a number of national newspapers and women’s magazines.
Over the years I have gained an increasing profile within the world of commercial PR. I have been involved in a number of high profile campaigns including Philips, Johnson & Johnson, Clinique, Le Crueset and Teletext Holidays.
As well as general work in the area of sex and relationships I have a special interest in sexual addiction and teenage issues.
